An older 18-decimal token often called PUSD exists on Ethereum at 0x8e41a67121dCB81539D3f3c1f1E564EA7eAbB6Df. It is a different asset with different decimals and a different supply. PoeOS never relabels it as PUSDC.

PUSDC targets a 1 USD value and is designed for PoeOS payments and settlement. The smart contract does not guarantee a $1 market price. Market price and reserve information are displayed transparently and may deviate from the target.
